Season of Storytelling!
I remember when as a child we all like to be told a story, because we felt connected to the teller in some way. It really didn't matter what kind of story it could have been a funny, scary, and mysterious story that for some reason got our attention. being able to visual and feel the story was the main key to being able to focus and feel interested.
Storytelling has always been a tool to tell anything we ever wanted in a more creative way. Learning about Digital Storytelling has really opened my world in many ways. it is a cool and fun way to tell a story. I am glad that I will be creating a digital story for my class and i get to learn it and teach it to others and even my son. It is interesting how back in the day it was telling stories through camp fire events and they used objects to tell, but TODAY we tell it using technology! it is an awesome tool that i will be using to tell a story of how i met my husband to my children.
Learning about how there is science behind storytelling is amazing; By doing that it stimulates something in the brain that our minds get attach to the story and we start to live in it. And because there are 6 elements to tell a great story to others.
Lets move on! GOOGLE CLASSROOM...
really that is a good tool to assist every educator that is using technology. I was exploring the tool, and found out that it can be really a internet teacher assistant for us. It helps out with student assignments, emails, and student communication. But, also it will only play a good role for certain students and not all students that prefer paper copies or in person communication.
